Our activities include:
  • Complete solutions (turnkey)
  • Part solutions e.g. fitting out of a chimney
  • Pre-design and/or preparation of the Inquiry Documentation
  • Complete Engineering of Projects – including Detail Engineering and documentation for the execution phase, under consideration of the applicable standards and safety regulations.
  • Consultation with Plant Engineers and Clients in the preliminary Design Phase and preparation of alternatives and project recommendations
  • Execution of complete projects with experienced personnel and incorporation of specialist subcontractors / suppliers e.g. lift and electrical installations
  • Building Control with experienced personnel comprising:
  • Safety management during the project – including preparation of safety plans and risk analyses
  • Quality Control including Erection Control and Material Checks
  • Engineering, Execution including Inspection and Maintenance of Projects during the whole working life.

Since its foundation our Company has always been aware of state of the art technology which together with the knowledge of material behaviour is a proven advantage in project determination, material selection and project execution:
  • 1891, the first brick chimneys were erected by Franz Hof in Frankfurt am Main, Germany - 4 Nos. 40 m high
  • 1991, 100 years later the execution of 2 Nos. R.C. Chimneys in Spain.
  • Since 1991 to today over 100 projects have been undertaken incorporating all available technologies

Chimney structures can be divided into the following groups, from a technological stand point:
  • Steel Chimneys comprising single and twin skins
  • Steel Chimneys comprising load bearing mast construction with integrated liners
  • RC Chimneys
  • Masonry Chimneys
  • Miscellaneous Structures e.g. R.C. base construction in the form of a washer supporting a steel/GRP liner
