| We employ approximately 120 permanent staff in total, within the office departments, at the plant yards and on site.
Our “In-House “ Engineering Department employs highly qualified and continuously trained personnel who, are also supported through new engineers from our contact to the Technical Universities. This Department is responsible for the design, engineering , structural calculations and other examinations necessary for the project.
Engineering is undertaken in compliance with the applicable national or international code as determined in the project parameters.
On site, the erection of the project is performed through our competent and qualified work force supported by office personnel and departments as required.
We are continuously employed with the education of trainees both for Chimney and Refractory Works and a large number of our present personnel even started as apprentices within the Company.
Employees who have the talent to become foremen, project managers etc. can take part in the further training schemes and courses offered either within the Company or by external associations.
Safety, Health and Environment are also topics which are extremely important both to us and our Clients, which we believe can be shown by our low accident rate levels. Leading site operatives are continuously trained and updated on SCC requirements and annual courses attended by all site personnel, where information on latest topics and innovations presented.
Quality assurance and inspections are also high on the list, whereby the implementation and compliance of such is managed by our Quality managers who also receive continuous training and also attend seminars organised within the Company group.
Our SCC Certification (Safety Certificate Contractors) is in existence since 1997, with DIN ISO 9000 in 2001 and OSHAS in 2006. All these measures ensure that we are in a situation where we can offer our Clients complete solutions. |
